I'd never been to this lake before—my family and I were staying at a nearby hotel, and the night before I thought, "I should wake up super early and try for some fog shots," even though I had no idea if there would be any. The next morning? Fog. So. Much. Fog!
What I didn't expect were the swimmers. Tons of them, gliding into the misty water like it was a regular pool on a summer afternoon. I watched them disappear into the fog and never saw them come back out—a forever mystery that still makes me smile.
